A Christ-Centered Way of CaringAffiliated with Des Moines First Assembly of God, our Child Development Center is one of the largest, single-owned centers in the state of Iowa with a licensing capacity of 242 children. Yet, each child receives loving attention and is valued for the unique person they are. Our team members are committed to caring for your children based on biblical standards, attitudes and values. Our children's parents say they are able to see the positive impact of sending their children to a Christ-centered facility. We work hard on having open communication and positive relationships with our students' families. Your child's safety is always top-of-mind. Among other things, we use a key fob security system for parents to gain access to the building. In all of our classes we offer:
We accept children from 6 weeks of age through 7th grade and currently transport school-age children to and from 10 schools in two suburbs. During the summer months, school-age children enjoy a complete curriculum, which includes math, reading and science enrichment along with daily field trips. Our school-age department also has chapel after school every Thursday, which includes praise and worship time along with a message. We are open Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and are located at the church at 2725 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines.
